AVE website offers each teacher the ability to highlight their profile, list their modalities and showcase their current offering of courses, private lessons, podcast episodes, etc. Create your profile by filling out the information here. Choose to set it up once and never touch it again, or you can update it weekly to inform site visitors of what is coming up for you and your practice. The more current it is the better.

The listing will also put you on the map, showing potential students where you are located.

Active members can now publicly list resources that they personally created. Movies, books, vision improvement tools, etc. Member courses and programs are not considered to be a resource. You are, however, welcome to list your courses and personal events in your profile.

Resources are added to the site periodically by an AVE volunteer, we ask for your patience with adding your listing.

Our community is small and there are a few members who spend their time sharing their knowledge with those who want to become a vision teacher. Members who offer a teacher training program can list their program in the “Become a teacher” section of the website. This listing is member managed and is visible to the interested public.

Dues are now easy to pay and your access to all membership benefits is granted as soon as the payment is submitted. We ask that you use a credit card for your payment. Dues are paid on a 12 month basis, starting on the day you register for your membership. Due to moving away from a calendar year membership, there is no need to prorate dues to those joining later in the year. Current AVE membership cost is $99 and it will renew automatically every 12 months. No need to keep track!

As a member, you may get exclusive or “early bird” invitations to AVE and other events. Check the member only calendar for anything that is coming up, including conference and happy hours.

This calendar showcases larger events that are beneficial to other members, such as member conferences, knowledge enhancement courses or demonstrations. These events are to benefit the teachers, not to solicit business. Please submit an “Event Listing Request Form” to get an event listed.

Note that the calendar is updated every 2-3 months, so please plan ahead.
